Dahlias

•  Dahlias are shipped in 5 stem bunches
•  They have 45+ cm stem length
•  The blossoms average 3-1/2  to 4 inches in diameter.
•  They are locally grown, so depending on the weather they are available from mid-June through frost.

⇒ Cut Dahlias have a short vase life of 3 to 5 days.
⇒ You should take delivery of your dahlias a day before your event.

Dahlias are plentiful when in season but you still should order at least a week before you need them.  Florist quality dahlias are a higher-quality flower than field dahlias but still colors may vary somewhat.

Even though dahlias bloom until the first frost, after the middle of September you should check on the availability before ordering.  Fall rains coupled with a bit of wind can shorten the season.

You should be taking delivery of dahlias the day before your event.
